• 24" counter space per chair for standard size chairs.
  • chairs by a wall add 4" to 6"
  • chairs on 45 degree corners add 2" to 4"
  • smaller chairs (stool tops and low back stool) require 2" less space per chair
  • subtract 2" to 4" for a chair positioned at the open end of a counter

• 16" counter overhang recommended.
  • chair arms have a double pivot to accommodate a 50lb or a 300 lb physique
  • standard pivot arms are 13" but 15" is also available

• Overhangs as short as 9" may be accommodated.

• 3 ½" space between base cabinet and the back panel is required for covered bar frames

(in some cases, covered frames may be installed inside of base cabinets).

• Foot boxes (ready to cover):
  • height 6 ½" (other heights may be used with raised counters)
  • depth 15" (covered post frames)
  • depth 18" (exposed post frames)
  • raised panels and access doors must be above finished box
  • foot boxes not required for inverted feet frames (foot rail required except with dropped counters)
