The Newel Handrail Grab Bars by AKW Medicare are the perfect solution for providing assistance to the elderly and disabled. The grab bars enable the user to step on and off stairs without releasing their grip, making climbing stairs less daunting and helping the user regain independence. Made from cold drawn mild steel tube and treated with a rust inhibitor, the grab bars are available in a White finish. The Newel Handrail grab bars come in dedicated Right and Left hand models, and feature a secure wall mounting system. These indoor-suitable grab bars are compliant with ADA requirements of technical assistance, and carry a weight capacity of up to 275 lbs.
