We mounted this in a cabinet that had a draw above it. It took some maneuvering but we got it done. It would be better to have shorter hooks because some of the larger pans do not fit because we don't have the depth because of the draw. If the hooks were smaller we would be able to fit the larger pans. Is there a way to get smaller hooks? Thanks,

Two 70 year olds were able to install. All my pans are hanging with glee. The movable hooks feel a clunky. Not as streamlined as an all metal unit I had in a previous kitchen, but this works and looks nice.

had the racks before that hold your pots like a pan rack. The plastic connections kept breaking. This is very heavy duty. My husband had to add supports. It works great and looks great too.

The picture on the item page shows the lids hanging on the pot handles. Item #RAS-GLD-HK-2-NC-5 is available as an add-on accessory, which is a double hook, allowing a hook for the pot and the lid on each unit.

There would not be an option to use RAS-GLD-W22-SC-7 with a drawer above, you need to be able to mount the center pull out to the underside of your countertop.

For RAS-GLD-W22-SC-7 the required minimum dimensions are: 4" W x 22" D x 4-1/8" H, as long as you have at least 22"D this organizer would work for you.

No, the pull out length on the organizer is different for each size. GLD-W14-SC-5 is 14"D and GLD-W22-SC-7 is 22"D.

How much space do you recommend to allow for pan width between the double glide?

How much space would really be a personal preference, however you will want to take into consideration the largest sized pans you will be hanging. (i.e. two 13" frying pans side by side will require at least 26"W.) If your cabinet has a face frame, you would want the width to be greater for both pull-outs to be able to exit the cabinet.
