| | | The KV-HAL-20 is the lift hardware only, the shelf is sold separately. If you purchase the 16" shelf, then it would require a 18-1/2" Opening. If you make your own shelf, the overall width would be the size of your top + 2-1/2".

| | | Yes, the stand lift locks into place. Ease of returning to stow away position is moderate. To collapse, pull the release handle on the bottom side of hardware unit.
