These John Boos Blended Kitchen Surface countertops are made of cherry for durability and looks, and feature an end-grain construction. The countertops are 25" wide, 1-1/2" thick, and are available in a variety of lengths from 12" to 145" to fit kitchens of any size. The blended tops have butt joints and color variations and the rails do not run the full length of the countertop. Interior rails are randomly finger-jointed for harmonious character with naturally defined individuality. The counter tops come in an oil or John Boos’ innovative Varnique finish.

Beautiful color and very nice cut. Got it to sit on top our wine fridge and it looks great. Deep cherry matches our cabinets nicely.

havent installed/used our 42" american cherry on the island we are building (from an old bar we tore out and refinished), but it looks GORGEOUS. one side is decidedly 'nicer' than the other, though the opposite side is usable (lets just say it has 'character') as well. and the product shipped must faster than the 4 week date given upon ordering.
figured i couldnt really give it a 5 until i actually had a chance to use it for a while :)
