Choose a 25", 27", 32" or 38" depth and a 24", 30", 36" 48" or 60" width to fit your kitchen. The island tops have a standard penetrating Oil finish designed for slicing, chopping, dicing and any other food preparation.

My Boos butcher block counter top is perfect. At 27"x60"x4" thick, it weighed 284 lbs. It arrived well packed in plywood and on a pallet. It installed easily on my new island cabinets. It is a wonderful addition to my ktchen.
My only comment is that it is tll. It is 2" taller than my other counters, but that is because the top is thick. I like this because I am a little taller, but if someone were short or worked a lot directly over their food (kneading dough for example) you might want to custom order the cabinets or base a bit short.

RE: Boos butcher blocks JB-BBIT....
Regardless of size, are any of them reversible and also, will a push pin penetrate the wood? We cut fabric on our cutting block and we use push pins to hold the material down.

While, these boards aren’t manufactured to be Reversible, we are able to custom make it to be Reversible with an up charge. Keep in mind that the Oil finish may adhere to the fabric and Varnique Finish should not be heated. It may be a little difficult to get a push pin in the block.
