The counter tops have a standard oil finish with the option of an extra protective varnique finish. The counter tops ship by either Truck or UPS/FedEx Ground depending on weight.

 Just keep in mind if you are using the 3" butcher block for your island and want a wine fridge it will sit about 2" higher then the rest of the counters. Not a big deal but feels different at first. The block itself looks great
