Featuring a pyramid in the center to stabilize beef and poultry, this Aztec Board Boos Block by John Boos is the perfect board for your home. Made of hard rock maple, the board has an edge grain butcher block construction and is finished with boos block cream with beeswax. A groove running out of the pyramid helps collect juice around the edge while the hand grips make it easy to carry the board around without spilling the food on top. The board is reversible to use the stainless steel condiment pan in the inset on the back.

This cutting board has all the necessary features for cutting large cuts of meats while capturing the juices and stabalizeing the meat for cutting. We had a smaller board with a narrow channel, but it was deep enough to collect all the juices and the meat would slide around while cutting. The large size, deeper groves, wooden spikes and juice collector tray makes this the perfect cutting board for our purposes. I would have like to have seen other wood options, like walnut, but I'm extremely pleased with this one of a kind board.

Super for large turkey or ham. The drip pan is a nice touch. Wish it was integrated into the board base.
