The cutting board also has a tree-pattern liquid moat and comes with stainless pins for securing meat to the board. The cutting board measures 20" W x 15" D x 1-1/4" H and is reversible. 	I needed a large carving board for meat that would be suitable for both preparation and, in some circumstances, for serving. The drainage tree grooves are excellent for handling juices without spills. One feature that I have not had before is the quartet of removable, metal spikes that grip the underside of the meat and prevent slipping. As expected ths Boos product is well constructed of very pretty maple. It is exactly what I was looking for.
