Determine desired ironing board high above the floor using the
chart below labeled C2. Care should be taken
to insure the unit will be mounted at the ironing board height desired. B.
Locate wall stud to be used for mounting. Stud should be located as
close to center of cabinet as possible B.1)
For NE-242A: Using a 1/4" drill bit pre-drill holes through upper
and lower cross frames where anchoring screws will be located. It
is recommended to countersink anchoring screws and when the mounting
location is not centered on the stud, two screws in both cross frames
is desirable. (Caution: Do not pre-drill wall with 1/4" drill
bit. See D for wall instructions. B.2)
All other models: Using a 1/4 drill bit pre-drill holes into upper
and lower cabinet cross braces where the lag screws will be located. C.
Allow at least 16" to side of cabinet for door to swing open.
Door opens approximately 180º D.
Using a 3/16 drill bit pre-drill a pilot hole into a wall stud where
the cabinet will be attached to the wall. E.
Attach a cabinet to wall by inserting the lag screws included for
mounting through the predrilled holes in the cabinet cross frames
or braces and screw into predrilled pilot holes in wall stud. |
