Ship Times:
Each product item has an
indication of expected shipping time in it's shopping cart area
(example: "within one week" means that your order may leave
the factory/warehouse as soon as one day or any day up to a week). Add
shipping time of up to another week depending on distance to travel. As all
orders are shipped direct from our suppliers we do not control ship
times but our forecasts are mostly accurate. When you place an order we
advise you, in good faith, of expectations and we will let you know if
we are subsequently made aware of any unforeseen delay.
Ship times for Made-to-Order, Custom and Special Order items may vary
from our quoted time. Sometimes they will ship sooner and sometimes
later than expected.
Damages:
Unfortunately
damages sometimes happen. It is of the utmost importance that any
damages are reported to us as soon as possible and not later than 10
days from receipt. If you intend to store an item for later use you MUST
unpack it and examine for possible hidden damage. No claims
will be accepted by shipping companies after 10 days. Also - see the
warning above (under Shipping) about not signing on receipt without
examining each item carefully.
Returns:
Within
30 days and with an RAN only. Our intention is
that you receive goods exactly as described and we will pay freight both
ways if we have made a mistake. If a product is defective we will ship
another at our expense. Defects must be reported within 10 days of
delivery. If a product is damaged in transit, we will help
claim insurance from the shipping company, but this must be done within
10 days. If you allow this time to elapse no claims can be made and a
return cannot be accepted. Returns from Canada are not accepted.
Made-To-Order and Custom orders cannot be returned. Minimum Order items are not
returnable.
It is your responsibility to make sure that the
goods you intend to order will be suitable for the purpose you have in mind.
Returns for other reasons must be made within 30
days, freight paid, and with an appropriate RAN.
The goods must be in the original packaging and be in re-saleable
condition. You will be refunded or credited minus the shipping charges
and manufacturer / vendor re-stocking fees of 25% or a minimum of $20.
This fee will be reduced to 15% if an order is made for replacement of
equal or greater value. Shipping charges we incurred to
ship "Free S/H" items will also be charged back to you.
Minimum order items and some others may not be
returned. Please inquire if the goods you order are returnable and
carry a re-stocking fee.
Cancellations:
Custom, Special Order and Made-To-Order goods may not be cancelled
after three days. Ship time indicated for any product item is
based on information supplied by the manufacturer / vendor and often
represents "typical" turnaround time. However, products,
if available, may ship immediately or before the "typical time"
indicated. Goods already shipped may not be cancelled.
Made-To-Order, Custom
& Special Orders: Many of our products/services are unique
and are manufactured specially and are not returnable. A
custom or special order may not be cancelled after three days. After
production has begun, changes to custom orders are usually not possible
and can only be made at the discretion of the manufacturer/artisan
and may incur additional charges.
Minimum Orders:
Due
to the high cost of order processing, there is a minimum order value for
low priced items of $40 + s/h.
Multiple quantity of the same item or different items of the same brand
may be selected to reach this minimum. Minimum Order items are not
returnable.
Product
Brands: We offer more than 50,000
product items from over 240 suppliers. Most are listed under their own
brand names and some are sold under our names, including: Aurora
Collection, Covington, Metal Art, Regency Collection, SFS, Stainless
Craft, Steel Worx, Venia, Wave and others.
Product Image Disclaimer:
Due to the variances in computer monitors and the various settings
to brightness and contrast that users may adjust their monitors to, we
cannot guarantee with any certainty that the color represented in a
product image on your monitor is exactly as it appears in the physical
world.
Errors and Omissions:
While we do our very best to insure that the pricing and product information on our website is accurate,
occasionally typographical and informational errors do appear. We apologize for any inconsistency, but reserve the right not to fulfill orders based on incorrect pricing or information.
Privacy:
We will
not disclose your name (and other private details) to anyone else.
We will send you occasional newsletters, via email and/or
snail mail. At your request, we will remove you from our mailing list. |
