This creates a stronger, more durable application. Since backsplash is adhered to a 1/4" substrate, you do not have to be concerned with wavy walls - substrate will alleviate the unevenness of walls.
Easier Installation - all backsplashes are drilled with a 3/16 hole in the top and bottom right and left hand corners (Recommend a 3/16 x 1" flat head screw. Use mollies if attaching to wall board without studs). You then should utilize any tile adhesive, liquid nails to adhere splash to wall.

When we began designing our kitchen remodel, I coveted the professional style ranges with their custom stainless steel backsplashes, shelves and high-powered vent hoods. But our budget always brought me back to reality. I saw a reference to Kitchensource in a magazine and was thrilled to find that I could put together my own "professional" range look by purchasing their backsplash. After researching several companies offering stainless steel backsplashes and consulting with our contractor, we chose Kitchensource because they offered a backing for the stainless steel. AND IT PERFORMED EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED! I have an older home, nothing is straight or even and this backsplash looks smooth and perfect! I coupled this backsplash with a GE Cafe range and a Broan RP1 vent hood. Professional look, budget price! The look is timeless, those fancy tiled backsplashes are going to be the "avacado green of the 70's" very soon. The cost was less than many of the tile designs we were considering and is far easier to clean than grout! Our backsplash arrived in perfect condition and delivery took about half of the suggested time. We are totally satisfied!
