Instructions need a bit of proof reading and some of the joinery is a bit weak for this weight of a piece. Wish there was an option of 'feet' or 'Casters'. Once together looks very nice.

several things were wrong with product. i did not receive the back board (got 2 fronts to the drawer instead), and one of the holes for attaching the shelf to a leg was not drilled in the correct place. i received the back board promptly. over all i am very please with the product.

I am already enjoying my new island. It is very sturdy and was not difficult for my husband to put together. I like the size and the quality is excellent. The only concern I have is with the top. I need to get some oil finish on it as it is not as smooth as I was expecting. I am going to lightly sand it and then oil it. The wood on the sides and shelves were much smoother and felt like they had been oiled. Otherwise it is excellent.
