| | The island was much nicer than I imagined it wood be. Since no pieces are glued, I recommend 2 people to put it together. One needs to hold pieces in place while the other anchors. The directions were good and all pieces marked well. I am very pleased with this product.

I went ahead and orderd it..I am so happy with it.. Good material.. It only took my husband 2 hrs to put it together, the parts were labled . I would recomend this product, my friends love it..

| | I am pretty satisfied. The stainless top was not in perfect shape upon reception. There was a little pitting in the stainless top. But other than that the item is excellent. Sturdily built and good quality. The instruction were easy to follow and all hardware was there.

| | Bought mine back in 2006. The stainless steel has typical scratching and wear but the entire unit is very durable and well constructed. It cleans up nicely and still looks almost new. I Just bought another one for my mother in law.

| | Unit went together pretty well. There were two issues: one with a very misaligned hole and one where a pre-set anchor that was damaged.
Despite that, assembly didn't take more than 2 hours. The cart feels stable and looks good.
The drawers are a little smaller than I anticipated, but overall it is a decent piece of equipment.

| | The package arrived quickly, about five days. One side was dented, but the cabinet inside was unharmed. Every piece was clearly labeled, and the instructions weren't too hard to follow. It took me about 2.5 hours to put it together. Much of it is solid hardwood--it feels heavy and of good quality. The stainless steel top is wonderful to work on and easy to clean. It offers a lot of storage. It's a terrific addition to my kitchen.

It is still great. It is exactly as it is pictured. Also I got one wrong door sent in the box. I called the company and they promptly sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I was surprised. Ive never seen customer service so prompt and honest. I've recommended this site to many of my friends. The product is still in excellent shape.I thought this was going to be a risky internet purchase but so far Im happy with the purchase.

| | Overall I am happy with the unit except for the left door doesn't close right because of the location of magnet. And, the bottom piece doesn't fit perfectly inside of the pull door which shows some gap on the bottom. I plan to buy the liner to concel it.

| | I have had this kitchen cart for about 5 months. We absolutely LOVE it! Don't know how we did without it. We were very hesitant about making this type of purchase over the internet. So we checked out their BBB report, it was excellent, so we ordered. Please be aware that the stainless steel top scratches very easily, even when used with care. If you can deal with that little thing, you will love this island. The option to extend and retract the butcher block bar is the feature that sets this island apart from the competition. Also, I'm a little woman and needed the delivery man to bring the box inside my house for me. But, with a little determination, I was able to put this together by myself in about 5 hours.

The only issues we have is the stainless steal top scratches easier than we thought it would and there are a few cracks in the door fronts (it might be due to the humidity level here compared to where it was made). Overall, I'd recommend the product for the price.

Shipping was VERY fast (I know it's out of your control, but you processed and shipped in a very timely matter). The island was received in excellent condition. I am very impressed with all of the extra packaging included. Unlike most 'assembly-required' items I have purchased, I couldn't find a single scratch or blemish on any of the pieces. The pictures don't do this island justice.

| | We finally received our Kitchen Island this week and today I found the time to assemble it. We are extremely pleased with both the quality of the "cart" and its delivery condition which is pristine. I expected that much of the external construction would be veneered pressed wood and was delighted to find most of it was solid Asian spongewood. Likewise the engineering of the components was outstanding, everything fit together as intended without any need to 're-engineer' any connections or fittings. Assembled, the product looks better than in your ad as well.

| | I purchased a Homestyles Kitchen Island Breakfast Bar with a stainless steel top. I am very pleased with the item. It holds many items. I use it to hold several boxes of cereal. Bread. Plastic bags, foil , plastic wrap, wax paper and many more items. I have never had as much space in my cubords as I do now. This sturdy cart is very appealing to the eye. It did take my husband and I 3 hours to assemble. Everything was well marked and easy to fallow. No problems. I would buy this cart again.

| | Really great kitchen island. The size of the drawers is just right for kitchen items and the shelves are adjustable. The side shelf I use for holding seasoning jars and there is a convenient towel rack to save counter space. The steel surface is durable. Note that the package weighs nearly 100 lbs when it is delivered so make sure you get some help!
