| | This is our second island and cheaper than remodeling the kitchen! It wasn't any harder to put together than the first one but the instructions relating to the individual pieces isn't always too clear, requiring an occasional adjustment during the assembly. It looks great, matches the older ones color, and stores all the appliance clutter. Good company to deal with, good price, and I would order future items from them.

| | This is a great piece! It came quickly and was VERY well packaged with polystyrene around the edges and each piece wrapped in foam. Everything was well marked and I found this cart very easy to put together. It took me about 2 hours and 15 minutes and the only help I had was my husband drove the screws in the drawers.
I'm glad I had read that the drawers and shelved weren't as deep as the top. This actually worked in our favor as we plan on putting an electric box in it, but I'm still glad I knew that coming in.
The cart seems sturdy and looks so good we've decided we need to put new flooring in our kitchen.
I would definitely buy other items from this brand, and from this company again. I am extremely happy with this cart. Thank you!

| | I hope this review helps someone make the decision. I always look at reviews and I really appreciate the people that take time to write a comprehensive review to help others.
Lets just get the bad out of the way first because there is little bad to say. It was backordered at took a while to get here. No ones fault there, just supply and demand. The only other down side I have is that it did take a decent amount of time to put together. I am reccomending this product to my grandparents but I wanted to make sure they understood that it took my wife and I a while to put it together. It was not unnecessarily difficult but it could be a deciding factor for people who are not good at it.
On to the positive...
Great color (natural wood), solid construction, clear instructions, nothing damaged, beautiful handles, sturdy casters, and it was perfect for our little kitchen. We have gotten nothing but compliments on it. It appears that the manufacturer has looked at the comments because the instructions were clear and easy and no broken or missing parts. Best price I could find and free shipping. I reccomend this for anyone needing more space for your kitchen or dining room. I made soup (lots of chipping and prep) and although I wouldnt want to cut on the top of it (we used cutting boards) it was great to wheel it to the oven and cook, and then back against the wall and pull out or table for a big family meal. It adds class and yet is practical. Cant beat it!

The instructions were clear but omitted some descriptive information that caused me to re-do a few things (wrong orientation). Wood screws for wheels would work for just moving it across a smooth kitchen floor, but I had to bolt mine on for more strength to go across carpet and door sills. Breakfast bar side tilts the unit if leaned on heavily. Being a single handicapped person, it is very versatile and I don't see how I lived without it!!

| | Attractive, solid and useful. This cart moves easily and provides much needed counter workspace. The only negative to our cart is that one of the drawers comes off the glide track easily. My husband, an experienced woodworker, cannot keep it from coming off the track. It's not that big of a deal for us, though. Overall, it is a terrific addition to our kitchen and we're glad we bought it.

| | I originally purchased an art cart from Jerry's, and it was priced higher and the quality was very poor! Returned it and bought this instead for my daughter's art supplies. Went together fairly easily. The top had a scratch, which was replaced quickly, although the replacement top's finish is rough in a spot, but not bad enough to call again. Homestyles has been very responsive to problems, the look is quite nice, good storage for its size and it's wood--not particleboard. You really can't go wrong with this!

| | I have a small galley style kitchen with little counter space and thid island is perfect. I wheel it away into the kitchenette when not in use. It is an excellent value. Totally worth the price. i shopped around and this was a great deal. It arrived well packed and in good shape. You need 2 people to put it together but it went together fairly easily in about 2 hrs. It's very hard wood and I found the perdrilled screw holes were not wide or deep enough so I had to redrill them to accomodate the screws. Also one of my door hinges didn't hang right so the door couldn't close well and I had to adjust it some. All things considered these were minor inconveniences. I found the center shelves impractical as my island is moved around often so I didn't even install them. I just left that open space and my trash can fit perfectly into it. The work top is very spacious and the island rolls and steers easily. I love it.

The screws were not long enough so now I only have one screw holding it on and it is swinging. It either needs longer screws or better constructed handles. Easily fixed. My husband and 14yr old son put this thing together~and it took them around an hour and a half w/a power drill for the most part. The sliders for the drawers are already on the wood pieces~so that makes for 1 less thing to do or put together. My husband usually hates having to assemble things,but this thing he loved! To my husband and son it was like they were putting a model car together~it was that easy!
The only cons I found was that one cabinet shelf holes weren't in alignment,but the holes that were in alignment made the shelf right where I would want it anyway. And the other cabinet door rubs alittle when closing it. Other than that...its a beautiful addition to our kitchen along w/our kitchen cabinets we just put in! The price can't be beat!

| | It looks very nice. It takes two people to put together but it goes fast.Follow the instructions exactly and no problem. Last part was the top cutting board which was cracked. My husband let the company know and we had the new top no charge within 4 days. It added the extra kitchen space we needed for the cabin, and all in all it was a good buy.

| | My brother and I took about two hours to assemble it. It is on wheels so you can roll it to whatever position you want it to be in and the wheels lock once its there. I love my mobile island!

| | Item was very well packaged. There was no damage. My husband and I put it together and it was very straight-forward. We were surprised to find that many pieces already had the hardware attached. What a convenience. We love having the extra counterspace and the drawers and doors work excellent. All the hardware was higher-end not cheap. We also bought this because all the wood was solid hardwoods and were not disappointed. We are looking forward to when we are able to purchase more of the same type of furniture for our kitchen. You have a repeat customer. It's also extremely valuable to have no shipping costs. Good selling point! I have already told several people how happy we've been with this purchase. What a great value!

| | I had no trouble assembling the cart and am very satisfied with it. There were a few minor glitches. Some of the holes for the shelf holders were not properly lined up. The drawer pulls had a flaw that prevented one of the screws from reaching the hole it was supposed to screw into. These problems were easily remedied. All in all, it is a very good product at a very reasonable price.

| | After searching for several hours online, I finally found exactly what I was looking for. I like the combination open space and closed space, and the overall size of the piece was perfect for my kitchen. Overall pretty easy to put together, I was able to do it without a 2nd person helping. Just make sure to put all pieces in the correct way, it's easy to switch them up! Overall, very satisfied.

| | over all a good product made well but was alot of parts took me about 2.5hrs alone, and I'm pretty handy. overhangs in the back and wish it would in the front but all in all just what we were looking for.
