A semi-gloss finish known as Varnique is available for all maple tops. Created to repel most household solvents, Varnique finished tables, however, are not appropriate for cutting on. Accessories such as galvanized, stainless and plastic finished drawers, keyed drawer locks, stainless steel or galvanized lower shelves, and heavy duty casters are also available. This table is professional grade- solidly constructed and built to last. I finally have some extra kitchen prep space. Kitchensource was great about keeping me updated on my order and wrangling with the manufacturer about missing hardware. Great product and great experience.
