Designed to accommodate the largest or smallest tasks, this Cherry Gathering Block II by John Boos stands on solid 4" square legs. Mounted under the top are two large wicker baskets that can slide out on either side, giving you easy access to the storage items held in the basket. The cream finished butcher block is designed to serve as a centrally located kitchen food preparation station, providing quick and easy access to and from counters, sinks, refrigerator and range areas. A slatted shelf allows room for tall items, with approximately 15" of space in between the baskets and the slatted shelf. This item ships via truck.

	This is a beautiful, handcrafted piece. It is very heavy and solidly made and the butcher block is just gorgeous, we hesitated to use it the first time! The storage baskets beneath are a nice extra touch and come in very handy. Very pricey, but beautiful and well-made.
