The Contempo Gourmet Single Bowl Sink by Houzer features an 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel construction. The zero-radius design combined with an undermount installation creates a sleek, modern look that shines in contemporary and traditional kitchens. The kitchen sink is noise-deadened by a full wrap of ¼" thick Mega-Shield ™ insulation foam that covers the dense, sound absorbing pads underneath. The sink features a rear-set drain with a strainer included that matches the Brushed Satin finish of the sink. The sink fits into 36" cabinets. Available separately is a WireCraft Bottom Grid that sits on rubber boots to protect the sink surface and allows unrestricted drainage even with items crowding the bowl. The 1" thick hardwood Endura cutting board is designed specifically to rest over the top of this large bowl to simplify your food preparation and cleaning tasks by containing them to the sink area where rinsing and disposal is within an arm's reach.
