	Looks oval in pictures but is not, it's round and tapers to wider at top than base. Not sure how long the liner will last, it wraps over the top edge of the basket and doesn't affix nor have any way to close it up nor is it a particularly sturdy fabric. Regardless, the basket should function perfectly well without it. Wish the basket had handles for easier hauling - I wonder how long it will last. Definitely one of the nicest looking ones out there, I am quite pleased with it and time will tell how well it holds up with use.
