Excellent
by: cook53     from: unk, un      on: September 21, 2017
Works great - looks cool! Wish I had bought earlier, worth the expense. YouTube videos and metal templates very helpful for installation. Cast iron Dutch oven, clay cookers, fry pans on shelves, so very sturdy. Good design, like the 'amoeba' shape. It is great for our dishes, much better than a rectangular roll-out shelf, which is what we had before. We had 1/8" clearance on the opening width,

Just what we needed.

Perfect for my blind corner cabinet. A little expensive for the convenience it provides. Very well made, high end looks. Too high end price. The worst installation directions that I have ever seen. Had to go to youtube for information. The optional shim is not optional, and not provided. Half of the screws were wrong so I had to run to the hardware store for the proper screws. You have to decide if the price is better than getting on you knees to reach the dead space. Made my wife happy so, worth it for me.

Sturdy, easy to install works perfect. Watching YouTube install video is a great help as the instructions are a bit challenging.

Easy to install but too small
by: Dennis Cesari     from: Punta Gorda, Fl      on: April 26, 2017
The product was easy to install but my disappointment is there is too much wasted space in the cabinet. Or put another way, the shelf does not go back in deep enough. I was concerned with opening size and ordered the unit that would fit the opening but it left too much empty space in the back of the cabinet.

Great product
by: Dave Engstrom     from: Republic, Wa      on: April 17, 2017
We are building a house. I made the first cabinet and installed one of these units, having never seen one before. WOW! We ordered a second one and figured out a place to put one more. These are so much better than the old Lazy Susans. They do take up a bit more room than a Lazy, but not that much. We got the large size which requires a cabinet nearly 40 inches long. Thats a big cabinet which may not fit in everyone's available space. What we have found is that things that are hard to put away way back on that l ow shelf tend to stay out on the counter top and in the way. These things take that business right out of the picture. If you dislike clutter covering all your horizontal surfaces, consider one of these units. They are fairly sturdy and well built.

Cabinet job

Fairly simple installation and works well.

why didn't I get this before
by: Shari Bo     from: Disputanta, Va      on: March 8, 2017
Absolutely love this. It took me a while longer to install than usual. The installation of the shelves was simple, revamping my cabinet took an extra day. I measured the length of the blind and the width of the door opening. I didn't measure the depth as I thought that was standard. Not in my kitchen. I loved the Lemans II shelves so much I refused to take them out. Instead I tore the back of the cabinet out and extended it out 3" to allow the shelves to swing into the cabinet. I found stuff in the back of the blind I had forgotten I had. Now it's all in sight. Just pull out the shelf, grab the item I need and give it a push to send it back in. With the soft close brackets that were included, all it takes is a slight push and it gently moves back into it's "resting" position. I kick myself for not getting this sooner.

life saver!
by: Ellen     from: Santa Fe, NM      on: February 27, 2017
This unit turned my blind corner cabinet into usable space. I can't comment on the installation (because I didn't do that myself) but I'm very pleased with how it works. This was the only pull-out that fit my particular situation (the rev-a-shelf required a larger door opening). It's a life saver!

A beautifully made product!
by: Bruce     from: Canada, -      on: February 24, 2017
Just a terrific product that works as advertised . . . lovely smooth action and the self closers are the icing on the cake! Installation was straight forward using the metal guides. (didn't bother with the included cardboard template) I had to move the top hinge on my door as it was interfering with the top bracket, again not a huge deal considering how it solved a major long standing problem in our very busy kitchen. Very quick shipping, within a week of ordering. No hesitation in recommending . . .

Easy to install, looks great, and works well. Very solid feeling. You sacrifice some room in your blind corner cabinet by using this, but accessing everything on the shelves is quick and easy. No more getting down on your hands and knees to fish something out of the corner cabinet!

I installed cabinets in Spokane for an older couple who was so intent on saving money that I had to use a barebones blind corner cabinet without a lazy susan the get the budget where it had to be. This susan was a great finishing touch that made everybody happy.

Fabulous!
by: Ena Stewart     from: Ferndale, MI      on: September 23, 2015
I have to say, after much research I have finally got my Lemans II shelves installed. The product is an absolute must if you have blind cabinets like I did. They work like a precision German made product, very nicely constructed and are a tremendous lot of fun to play with not to mention useful. Throw out that awful Lazy Susan!! The only gripe I have is in the mess of directions you get. I found it much easier to install the side post first, following the instructions actual stated measurements...not the useless enclosed template. Loosely (without screws) install the center support and one shelf to make sure the swing turns out correctly and doesn't hit anything. Mine was fine using the measurements supplied for the closest looking cabinet style. Once you have everything dialed in, the second one goes much easier...literally a 15 minute job. My particular cabinet configuration, which is just a faceframe cabinet without center stile, was not listed which upset me but its pretty easy to figure it out if you read and compare the different types. One thing they all had in common was the side post measurements and position which is why I installed it first. Again, throw that template in the garbage! If you need the side post spacer like I did, you'll need to get some correspondingly longer screws which are not provided. Do not overlook ordering this spacer if you have a front cab frame. I used stainless steel oval head screws for a nice look. Be careful you don't screw or drill through the front of your cabinet when installing the inside center post. I didn't but it would be easy to do. Pre-drill your screw holes do put less stress on the wood when screwing it all together. Measure and mark things neatly and triple check yourself and it should all go fine. You will LOVE this work of cabinet art! AMAZING!!!

Great shelving system
by: Tom Stephano     from: Secane, Pe      on: May 28, 2015
The product is very well built. The hardware is heavy and can handle the weight. I like the easy glides when closing. Install was simple. It took longer to get the cabinet empty of kitchenware then the install took. Only problem was I had to go with the smaller system 15". Shelf's are small but work well. I am happy with the purchase.

Quality Product, EASY Installation (half hour)!!
by: Scott     from: North Branford, CT      on: April 5, 2013
I just installed this in my kitchen and I am so impressed by the quality, and also the ease of installation. I was able to install it in half an hour, by myself, AND without any cursing!! The storage it offers is unbeatable. I should have done this years ago! If I knew how easy it was to do, I would have.

Great product
by: DanS     from: Tulsa, OK      on: November 29, 2012
This is the best corner organizer (a.k.a. blind lazy susan) that I've seen/used. The construction is super strong and the installation is super easy - 10x easier than competative products (e.g. Rev-a-Shelf).

Quality Product
by: Sam     from: Las Cruces, NM      on: October 9, 2012
The instructions were a little hard to understand at first. Once installed the shelves operate smoothly and the unit looks great.

Wonderful! Helpful Hint: shelves can be used on a 2 door cabinet if the doors can open at least 160 degrees.
by: Lea Hietala     from: St. Paul, MN      on: October 2, 2012
Easy for the handyman to install, although the instructions seemed confusing. These shelves bring everything in my lower blind corner cabinet into full view and access. Items on the shelves do not slide around. The mechanical arms move smoothly and effortlessly. I have a small "U" shaped kitchen (4' x 5' standing space) and even with the shelves fully extended they do not block movement. My blind corner cabinet opening has 2 doors, fortunately they open about 160 degrees otherwise the shelves would not extend out far enough.

Your questions that we answered:
What does the 45 mean? My cabinet depth is 24, the opening is almost 16 and the length is 43 and it is swing left which one should I buy?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.846
45 is just the series number. The Lemans 45 does not look like it will fit as it requires a minimum opening of 16-1/2" W where you only have 16". For a smaller opening you might have to go with: http://www.kitchensource.com/cabinet-organizers/rv-5370-single-tier.htm?p=RAS-5371-15-GR-L

I am interested in this product but before it is ordered, I want to make sure of the measurements. It will go under a drawer. What size opening will I need? Our opening is approximately 24"w x 22 1/2"h x 22"d. thanks,   - Asked about product HA-541.32.861
This item is for a Frameless Minimum Cabinet Opening: 16-1/2" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H, with a Minimum Inside Cabinet width of 32-1/4". It will not fit your cabinet if your cabinet is only 24"W.

I see you list corner units for a 45", 50" and 60" cabinet. I have a left hand 42" cabinet. Am I out of luck here? Thanks   - Asked about product HA-541.32.850
The 45, 50 and 60 refer to the style; however the required dimensions of the units themselves are different:

Lemans 45:
Face Frame Minimum Cabinet Opening: 16-1/8" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H
Frameless Minimum Cabinet Opening: 16-1/2" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H
Minimum Inside Cabinet: 32-1/4" W

Lemans 50:
Face Frame Minimum Cabinet Opening: 17-3/4" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H
Frameless Minimum Cabinet Opening: 18-3/8" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H
Minimum Inside Cabinet: 36-1/4" W

Lemans 60:
Face Frame Minimum Cabinet Opening: 21-1/4" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H
Frameless Minimum Cabinet Opening: 22-1/4" W x 19-3/4" D x 21-1/2" H
Minimum Inside Cabinet: 38" W

Which 2 tier tray will fit my blind corner cabinet? It has a hinged door - total opening 15 inches.   - Asked about product HA-541.32.445
I apologize for the delayed response. Unfortunately, the smallest minimum cabinet opening on this page is 16-1/8"W, so none of the items on this page will work for your situation. We have face framed cabinets with inset doors. The doors are mounted using blum inset hinges, which mount to the back of the face frame, then protrude back into the cabinet approx. 2". Will the lemans II still work with the inset doors and hinges as long as we adjust the shelves at a different height than where the hinges are located?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.450
It looks like it may work, but it is best for the installer to review the mounting instructions: http://www.kitchensource.com/lazy-susan/pdf/ha-lemans-ii.pdf and the YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Qt1HE_Jbqw

What is the opening we need for this accessory?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.750
It depends on the type of cabinet you have. If you have a framed, you would need to have a opening that is at least 16-1/8" wide; or if you a frameless cabinet, your opening need to be 17-1/8" wide.

I'd like to install a Le Mans 60 and the cabinet "A" measurement is EXACTLY 22 1/4" (minimum required). Do you foresee any challenges here, or would coming in exactly at the minimum be alright? Thanks.   - Asked about product HA-541.32.161
For the Lemans 60, as long as you have the 22-1/4" of space for your opening "A", then you should be fine. It should be able to clear. That minimum requirement is for a frameless cabinet. If you have a face frame, you only need 21-1/4 space.

In the installation instructions on page 3 is a dimension "X" to locate the angle bracket. Where exactly is this dimension taken from, the face or the valley of the hinge strip?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.846
Per Hafele, the dimension "X" is measured from the valley of the hinge strip. Also there is a gauge in the box that helps the position bottom and top mount of that post. It is on page 9.

Is there a Hafele corner unit available for upper kitchen cabinets, or only base cabinets? Thx   - Asked about product HA-541.32.846
Unfortunately, these base cabinet types of corner cabinet organizers are not available for upper kitchen cabinets since those are generally more shallow in depth. Here are our upper cabinet organizers: http://www.kitchensource.com/cabinet-organizers/welcome-wallcabinetorganizers.html

You need a minimum 21-1/2" height for this LeMans, so it will only fit if the hardware is above the 21-1/2" minimum height requirement.

How do i determine the "swing" of the unit? As i face my cabinet the door is hinged on the right and the lemans would pull out towards the left, i guess. Is this a left swing? So the "swing" is the opposite side of the door hinges?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.446
Yes, that is correct. "Left swing" means that the end of the unit swings out to the left, where the door hinges would then be on the right, and vice versa, so you would need a left swing unit for your application.

I am working with a custom cabinet maker, and they are suggesting a half-moon lazy susan for my left-blind corner cabinet, which has yet to be finalized in terms of the size of the unit. If I go with the LeMans II, I want to make the cabinet as small as possible to fit the LeMans size requirements (to maximize storage usability). My question is: What is the square inch measurements for each shelf on the LeMans II (15", 18" and 21" versions)?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.760
The square inch measurements for Hafele’s LeMans II" Kitchen Blind Corner Organizer are:
15" Lazy Susan Tray: 361 square inches
18" Lazy Susan Tray: 442 square inches
21" Lazy Susan Tray: 528 square inches

How do you determine if a shim is necessary? It's not clear to me from the diagrams what is being measured, especially with a frameless cabinet.   - Asked about product HA-541.32.450
If the application is frameless then, a filler strip is not needed.

If the blind corner organizer cabinet has a face frame, the filler strip is only needed if the distance between the inside cabinet and the edge of the face frame is between 13/16 and 1 inch . The corresponding Filler Strip (HA-541.32.506) can be found on the page under ‘Accessories’.

I am interested in the product but wonder if it can work for me. I have a 2 door opening that measures 21", so looks like I need the 18"Tray. Will the additional width be a problem for mounting? I believe my cabinet has a face frame. Depth of cabinet is 23 1/4" and interior width is 47", will the 18" tray fully utilize this space? What would be the length and width of the 18" tray?   - Asked about product HA-541.32.751
This will fit into an unobstructed opening of the size you mentioned. Each shelf glides out to give full access to everything one stores on the shelves. It has 884 sq. inches of storage space total (442 sq inches per shelf). The face frame should not affect the installation.
