- For 1 Shelf System you need:
- 4 rods (choose 4 in the quantity box above)
- For 2 Shelf System you need:
- 8 rods (choose 8 in the quantity box above)
**Note: Each shelf requires 4 rods. You can purchase 4 rods and cut them to make 8 smaller pieces if you are fine with a smaller inter-shelf space (height). Each rod is 35-1/4" long. - 4 Intermediate Supports (Sold separately, see Optional Accessories)

**Note: Each shelf requires 4 rods. You can purchase 12 rods and cut them to make 12 smaller pieces if you are fine with a smaller inter-shelf space (height). Each rod is 35-1/4" long. Hafele Shelf Suspension Systems attach through wood or glass and are designed for shelves that are suspended from the ceiling. The shelf suspension system features a threaded rod, a tube, an upper sleeve, a centering ring, a sleeve nut and a rubber clamping ring. The rods are made of steel and brass and have a load capacity of 50kg (110 lbs.) per rod. The rods are available in a Chrome Polished or Chrome Matt finish.

| I need a suspension shelf for a space that is 50"x50" and i would like 3 shelves. What is the max depth of the shelf; I am planning on using glass. thanks - Asked about product HA-828.50.408 |
| | | The max depth would depend on the thickness of glass as that would determine it's strength if the item is say deeper than 12". For three shelves, one on top of each other, you would need to order 6 sets of the rods and 8 sets of the Intermediate Supports.

| From the image, it looks like the shelves are hanging with 4 rods, so I need to know what exactly comes in this order of a suspension system. I need to hang 2 shelves that are 96" long and 9" deep and 3/4" thick, made of solid acrylic, how many of these systems will I need? Thanks - Asked about product HA-828.50.408 |

So for two shelves, you need to order a qty of 8 (a total of 8 rods). If you are hanging an additional shelf to the system, you need the optional intermediate supports sold separately in the accessories.
