John Boos's Pot Racks

John Boos Co. started in the late 1800s as a maker of butcher blocks, and over time they have expanded their product line to include a wide assortment of award-winning kitchen accessories, including pot racks.  John Boos Co. makes Both Steel and Wooden Pot Racks of very unique designs.  Their most popular racks include ceiling racks, wall-mounted racks, and workstations.

John Boos Pot Rack Descriptions
John Boos ceiling pot racks are unique combinations of wood and metal.  Their Rough Cut Rack, for example, includes a single wooden board with steel wings extending outwards from either side of the board.  People attach "S" hooks to the steel bar and then hang their pots and pans on those hooks.  Another hanging pot rack made by the John Boos Co. consists of several wooden rectangles, all of which are different sizes.  The small rectangles are nested inside the larger ones, and steel connectors hold them in place.

Many of the Boos Wall-Mounted Pot Racks are made entirely of stainless steel.  People use the tops of these matte-finished racks as shelving, and there are hooks underneath the shelves on which people hang their cookware.  On most John Boos models, the pot hooks are double-sided to increase storage capabilities.  These wall-mounted pot racks have 12" of depth.

Few pot rack makers offer Complete Work Stations like John Boos Co. does.  Work stations come in either wood or stainless steel, and they include shelving, cutting areas, and pot hooks.  Boos workstations are meant to make life easier for cooks, as they enable chefs to work and store everything they need to prepare food in one location.
