Pot Rack Accessories - What Comes With a Pot Rack

Common pot rack accessories and add-ons include decorative ceiling hooks, extra chains, and moving hooks.  In some instances, extra chain is a necessity.  Most companies sell pot racks assuming that people have either eight or nine-foot kitchen ceilings.  This generalization holds true for most households.

However, there are plenty of kitchens out there with higher ceilings, and for them extra chain is a requirement.  Moreover, if the person who does the majority of the cooking in your house is on the short side, then extra chain may be a good idea regardless of ceiling height.  Pot rack companies usually sell extra chain in 12-inch increments.  Most distributors, however, will cut the chains according to how much people actually want.  In order to connect additional chain, people need to use “S” hooks.

Hooks for Look and Practicality
Decorative ceiling hooks come in a variety of colors and patterns.  Most are circular and symmetric.  Their purpose is to add the finishing touches to an attractive pot rack setup.  People can opt for light blue, copper, silver, and other colored ceiling hooks.  Hooks are mandatory for any setup, so why not spend a few extra dollars on your favorite?

Without moving hooks, people could not hang pots and pans on their racks, which is pretty much the whole point of owning a pot rack.  The majority of racks come with hooks, but some people require more than the amount given.  It’s definitely better to purchase a few extra hooks when initially ordering, because to order them in the future would cost considerably more money.
