 This rack was recommended to me by a kitchen designer, and it looks great over our island. The rack is not too big, so I still have work space at either end of the island which measures 6' X 29". Two considerations: Your ceiling must be at least 8' high, or the pots will hang too low. Also, our rack came without installation instructions, so we hired an electrician to do the job.
