This Air-Pro Decorative Wall Mount Range Hood features high-end style and quality. The hood is constructed from any of four different quality hardwoods including Red Oak, Maple, Hickory and Cherry. The woods are unfinished so your range hood can be painted or stained to match your kitchen cabinets or range. This range hood is available in 30", 36”, 42” and 48” widths to accommodate most range sizes. Re-circulating ductwork kits are also available.

| | Great product and craftsmanship. Only reason for lacking the full 5 star is because of the long lead and delivery time which actually was due to a hurricane. Other than than that, product was built to online specs. with no defects.

| | | Yes, there is an optional Recirculating Kit for Ductless Use, 7" Diameter: FU-DK-SMALL. To order the Ductless Kit, please add the hood to your cart, which will then take you to the 'Configuration Cart'. Once, you select your Blower you will see a link that says "Show Blower Accessories" and this is where you will find the Ductless Kit.

| I see that this product is 42.5" high. Due to the height of our ceiling, we can only accommodate 30" of height for the wood hood. Could this be modified to remove the top part of the chimney? How high would that make this product? - Asked about product FU-FDWH30-C |

This would remove the whole stack portion and shorten the center portion of the hood. | | | You should have no problems so long as the inner dimensions of the hood coordinate with the blower you are trying to fit inside. However I would suggest you call in and place an order. This way you will be providing the dimensions and we can verify the hood can be made to fit. It may be a different price since it would now be a custom hood.
The range hoods come unfinished so it can be painted or stained to match your kitchen cabinets or range.

| I have a 48" opening between cabinets to place a hood. Is it possible for the side trim to be removed to make this fit 48"?

| | | The overall dimension of this hood is 32-1/2" W x 20-1/2" D x 42-1/2" H. This wood hood is intended to fit the Air Pro blowers and liners. The liner that holds the blower in and fits into the wood hood opening is approximately 28-7/16" W x 18-3/16" D x 4" H.

I have some questions related to this hood:
1) Does it come assembled?
2) Do I need to use the hood insert or liner that you sell?
3) Assuming I can use my own hood insert, would your liner be compatible with 3rd party hood inserts? Are there any guidelines regarding the use of your liner with 3rd party hood inserts?
4) Can the hood itself be mounted to the cabinets/wall, or can that only be accomplished with the liner?

| | | 1) The wood hood itself does come assembled. It takes about 3 weeks to produce, and ships assembled on a truck.
2) We suggest using the blowers and liners that we sell to go along with the hood, because the hood's inside measurements are made to fit those liners and blowers. We cannot guarantee that a separate liner/blower would fit.
3) Since the liners and blowers are made to fit each other, we cannot guarantee the liners would fit a 3rd party blower (insert).
4) We suggest mounting the liner to the wall studs, sliding the hood over the liner, and attaching the wood hood to the front frames of adjoining wall cabinets and the liner: https://www.kitchensource.com/range-hoods/pdf/fu-hood_installation.pdf
