 The exhaust hood performs as described in the literature. It is quiet on low speed, a benefit when compared to other makes, and the flow is more than sufficient for our gas cooktop. Our model is an insert, so very little of the unit shows, but that which does has a well made, professional look.

 A:The C2000SD4 unit is Imperial’s loudest unit, so if quiet is an issue we would not recommend it. You can use either C2042BP1 or C2042BP blower model. These units are quiet and very powerful. The BP1 is 600+ CFMs and the BP is 700+ CFMs, and can be found on this page: http://www.kitchensource.com/range-hoods/im-ventilator.htm
Does this unit have baffles or mesh   - Asked about product IM-C2036BP
 A:The IM-C2036BP has mesh filters.
The dual fan - is that 2 fans inline or is it one at the stove and one at the outside vent area? Thanks Brian Black   - Asked about product IM-C2036BP
 A:The Dual fan unit has two motors inside the hood which duct out of one 7" round duct hole.
