These interior air inlet valves by S&P are made for bathrooms or other small rooms. All models offer an adjustable central valve to regulate the air flow. The inlet valves are available for 4",5",6" and 8" applications. These adjustable air inlet valves are available in metal or plastic to suit any setting. These air inlet valves ship via UPS.

	Bought and installed one of these through drywall in a bathroom wall a couple weeks ago. Item includes three pieces total: 1) a flange with three screw holes that fits through the hole in the wall and includes a rubber gasket on the back to fit snugly into the duct

Your questions that we answered:

	Is this a check valve that only allows airflow in one direction or is this just a register for the inlet to a vent fan. I have heard the term "air inlet valve" in plumbing to refer to a valve that allows air into but not out of a sewage drain. I am looking for a large (8") air check valve that only allows flow in one direction.   - Asked about product SL-BOR-200
		SL-BOR-200 is an adjustable valve that will vary the air flow. A backdraft damper will allow the air to flow in but 1 direction. The 8" backdraft damper is needed would be SL-CAR200: https://www.kitchensource.com/range-hoods/sl-mca-100.htm
