These PV Series fans by S&P are suited for a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial ventilation applications. The centrifugal duct fans have a CFM that ranges from 153 CFM (PV-100X) to 942 CFM (PV-315X). These fans feature a backward curved centrifugal-type impeller, a strong galvanized steel mounting bracket, remote mounting - prewired wiring junction box, self-lubricating ball-bearings, and Black baked enamel coating. The PV Series exhaust fans have been specifically designed for simple installation. These exhaust fans have been created to operate in high moisture, lint and dust laden air. All PV Series exhaust fans come with a five-year limited warranty and ship via UPS.

| Exactly what was needed. We added it as a booster down-stream of a pretty wimpy down-draft cooktop exhaust. When it isn't running, it has plenty of free airflow so as not to impede the existing fan, but when it is turned on, it more than doubles (maybe even triples) the air flow.
Didn't give it 5 stars only because the intake and exhaust flanges are too shallow to allow easy duct connections. |

| The PV Series of fans are not suitable for range hood applications, the TD Series is reccommennded for range hoods and can be viewed here: http://www.kitchensource.com/range-hoods/sl-td-100.htm
