Your questions that we answered:
 | I have a soffit over my stove so the range hood won't go all the way to the ceiling. There is a 45" clearance from the soffit, where the exhaust goes into the attic, to the burners. Can this product be installed there? It says for 8-91/2 ft ceilings in the specs. ????? - Asked about product SU-SUE175 | |
 | The bottom of the SU-1/75 hood should be installed 30" above the cook top surface. This measurement along with the 14.4 " to the top of the 6'" vent duct will work. However you might have to use the lower half of the chimney to fill a small space between the soffit and the top of the hood. The chimney can be cut to shorten it and you can hide it (where the the rough edge appears) inside of the soffit. |
