- How To Install:
- 1) Choose any spot on your room's drywall to hang your Smart Shelf without having to search for pesky wall studs.
- 2) Place the handy Leveling-Piercing Template Tool against your wall, and adjust until level.
- 3) With a rubber mallet or hammer, gently tap the Leveling-Piercing Template Tool into the wall where you'd like your Smart Shelf to hang, creating two 1" H x 1/16" W slits
- 4) Lift the Smart Shelf until parallel with the wall and insert the shelf's Uni-hooks into the newly made slits.
- 5) Smoothly tilt the shelf down, pushing the Uni-hooks in until the back of the shelf is flush with the wall.
- 6) And that's it! You've now got a fully stable and secure shelf exactly where you need one, without the fuss and muss associated with standard shelf installation.
- 7) And if you decide to move the shelf later on down the road, simple lift the Smart Shelf out of the wall and cover up the 1" slits with spackle.
The Smart Shelf Tubular Design Wall Shelf by Stainless Craft is the simplest way to add storage to any room. Unlike standard wall shelves that require installation into wall studs for support, the Smart Shelf uses the one of a kind Uni-hook technology to quickly install into any dry wall/wall board without having to search for and drill into studs. The process is so quick and easy you'll have your new shelf up in minutes, without having to use a single molly insert or screw. Simply place the included Leveling-Piercing Template Tool against your wall at the perfect spot for your shelf and adjust the tool until level. Create two 1" H x 1/16" W slits in your drywall by tapping the tool with a hammer or mallet, then remove the tool and insert your Smart Shelf's Uni-hooks into the slits. And with no more force than a tilt of the wrist, position your shelf until the Uni-hooks are completely hidden and the shelf is now perpendicular with the wall. You're done! Your newly hung Smart Shelf looks professionally installed and is capable of holding as much as 50 lbs of weight on an 18" W shelf. And the best part is if you decide to move the shelf to another point in your room, just tilt out of the wall and cover up the 1/16" thick slits with a dab of spackle.
