| | Love the large capacity and the fact that the opening is big enough to fit any kitchen type trash. Also very easy to remove full bags and to replace the fresh ones. Seems like a lot to spend on a trash can but compared to others like it, this one is a bargain. Would recommend to anyone.

| | We've waited until moving into our long-term house to buy a stainless steel garbage can, and we finally found it! Flip up top doesn't slam into the wall or our granite countertops (like another one we purchased and returned), black lid is better than stainless for dirt, etc., size and shape are perfect, rubber/plastic bottom means that if the first thing dumped into it is a glass jar, it doesn't drop down and break. They seem to have thought of everything...and it looks great! Highly recommended!

| | This is my second one and I absolutely love it! It's great quality and the actual amount of rubbish it holds is deceivingly plentiful.
The company stands behind their product as I had a small problem with my lid--too many little hands interested in popping up and down--and then sent me a replacement no questions asked. I've had that one for 5 years and still looks brand new. I have replaced three trash bins in 8 years at our holiday home and decided to splurge again and buy this one. A bit pricey, but worth it once you've had one.

| | Looks and works great! I only wish you could lock the lid down - I have a very curious toddler that can remove the lid pretty easily. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

I love the easy push-to-open top that is very easy to open and large. It is well worth the money. After reading other reviews, I purchased flex 13 gal trash bags that fit perfectly.

| | I love this trash can. It looks nice in my kitchen, holds a lot of trash, and works with regular kitchen trash bags. I have been using the Glad Force Flex bags, and haven't had a problem. I just tuck the flaps of the bag under when I put in a new bag so that they don't show. The special trash bags that came with the can are great, but not worth then extra money, in my opinion. The lid is easy to open, and even my 3 small children find it easy to use. This can was a splurge, but I think it was worth the money.

| | This is my second Brabantia trash can and they have improved an already fantastic product. When I was looking to replace the first one that I've had for years, I immediately looked for the exactly same thing because I have been so satisfied with the performance of this can that serves as the main kitchen trash in a busy household. Worth even penny. You cannot go wrong.

| | We have had lots of pets, but this most recent kitty loved to jump on the windowsill and then into the kitchen garbage. I'd take her out, and she'd jump right back in. I don't like my kitchen garbage bin under the sink. I don't like small kitchen garbage bins because I cook a lot. So I started looking for a bin with a lid that could be opened easily by foot so that if my hands were dirty, I wouldn't get the lid germy. But I didn't want a cheapo that wouldn't stand up to real use over a long period of time. I spotted this bin after doing some research. I now adore my kitty-resistant kitchen garbage bin! I can open it with one finger--or with a clean elbow even if both hands are gross--and then close it again the same way. It is made to last. It has a 10-year warranty. I got the black one, by the way. I think it's worth the price.
