| | Best garbage can I ever had! My last one lasted over 15 years and it'd be great if this one last even 10 years. I am happy to find this one-- fits in a smaller place which is ideal for people with limited space.

| | This is the second one we've owned. The first broke after 10 years--I'm thinking that's pretty good for a garbage can! I like the smaller size--its smaller profile is less obtrusive in the kitchen and by the time you were to fill the big ones, it would stink anyway so to me the smaller ones make sense.

| Love it but hinge is a weak link

| | I've had two of these in succession because I like them so much. I handle them gently and expect them to last, but each has died after some years (fewer than ten) because the plastic hinge has broken. There has to be a stronger material in which to make it. Nothing else is wrong with the can and it's 'wasteful' to throw it out.
