| | I had my first one for 8 yrs or so and the lid broke and I HAD to have a new one. I can not say enough about it. It really is better that a step can. It is pricey but well worth the money. I use the one without a lid for my recycle,they sit side by side.

| | We purchased the touch bin more than six-years ago. I called the Brabantia USA office in NJ because the lid finally started to crack after years of hard use. The manufacturer sent me a replacement lid at no charge with no questions asked! Couldn't imagine a more attractive, functional, durable trash bin for my kitchen.

| | Maybe I'm just lucky but my trash can has lasted through the years with constant use. Buying another one today to replace the old one. Hope I have as good of luck with this one.
PS: I love that the trash is always under cover and it adds a bit of class to my kitchebn for a trash can.
