It would be nice if it were a little bigger, but I knew at the time of purchase that there just was not anything on the market exactly like this, only bigger. | | I searched around for a recycle/trash bin that would still look attractive sitting out in my kitchen and this is definitely the one. The only reason that I don't give it 5 stars is because it is a bit smaller than what I wanted and therefore it can be a chore putting trash bags into the bin (I'm still using 13 gallon bags). But considering it is the biggest I saw on the market, I'm overall very pleased.

| | While have only had the unit for two weeks, it has done a great job of providing a convenient, clean and nice looking place to sort trash and recyclables in our relatively small kitchen. The stepping/opening device works very well to keep our hands free.

| | It's a good product. I use one side for trash and the other side for recyclables. Only minor issue I have is on the trash side when I put the garbage in I have to work around the handle that is used to pull the container out of the trash can. Also I have to make sure the bag is tucked correctly so when the lid closes I don't see the bag. Having said that, it's a good trash can. The lid closes tight enough to contain any smells, and the pedals are withstanding a 20 month old kid learning to step on them.

I was concerned with the 8 gallon capacity of each side to handle a family of 7, but it seams to work fine. 8 gallon bags are really not large enough and a 13 gal bag is a little too large. Still searching for that perfect fit. Its a well built unit. All in all I'm very pleased with it.

| | I looked for a long time for just the right combo trash/recycle bin for my kitchen. I wanted it to look good and match my appliances. The price on this can was very low compared to others and it is quite sturdy. I didn't want an auto open lid and read reviews about other lids flipping up too fast without restraint and marking the wall or denting the lid. This opens well, empties easily and looks great. It was worth all the on line shopping. The free shipping was also a big plus

| | This is a great recycle / trash container! It looks good and holds more than I expected. It fits regular kitchen trash bags. Everyone who has come over has noticed it right away. It was exactly what I was looking for and less expensive than many stainless trash cans. I couldn't find anything like it with a recycling receptacle at the retail stores I went to.
