 This is exactly what I was looking for. It is the perfect trash can for a kitchen in which you cannot "hide" a trash can. It's functional, good-looking at easy to access.

 We liked the overall design, small footprint for our modest sized kitchen. Pleasant surprise the lid closes quietly. Only improvement would be if they added a latch so that you could prop the lid open if necessary. Would recommend this product!
