| ||Well, my quest to find a bar for my apartment finally ended with this one, however it didn't end all of my troubles. Backordered - Held by customs - Delivered within 2 days. It comes in 3 boxes - 2 were the correct finish, 1 was not. So called Kitchen Source and they fixed it without a problem and I received the box within 3 business days. Then my boyfriend went to put it together and as he was doing so, a corner of one of the sides broke off. SO I called the manufacturer and they replaced it without a problem and I received that piece within about 3 - 4 business days. Finally we were able to put it together. Now that it's together it is fabulous and I love it. So as long as it's in stock and you don't break it it's a nice investment I think and it doesn't seem like it will eventually fall apart.
|POOR QUALITY OF WOOD
by: Melanie from: -, FL on: March 31, 2011
| ||The bar was made with suppressed wood. If you turned a screw too much, it would go all the way through the other side of the wood which is really plywood covered nicely. I think that's why the product is so cheap.
No extra pieces included so if you lose a screw or a fastener you better find it.
Once the item is put together it is just as nice as it looks in the picture but leaves you wondering if its going to stay as picture perfect or collapse at some time in the future. Item is made in China so that sums it up...
Kitchen Source has nothing to do with this poor quality item but definitely would do business with them in the future. Item shipped and delivered within days of ordering.
