Specifically designed to successfully remove the harmful chemicals, gases and odors caused by household cleaning products and detergents, this replacement filter for the Healthmate Plus Junior air purifier offers 4 stages of air filtration. Large particle and medium particle pre-filters collect hair, dust pet dander, pollen and mold; while 30 ft of true medical grade HEPA removes 99.97% of micro-organisms as small as 0.3 µm, like bacteria and viruses. Finally, 6.5 lbs of activated carbon impregnated with zeolite and potassium iodide (at a ratio of 10:1:1) removes chemicals and gases like formaldehyde and ammonia, and suppress acrid odors. This filter comes in 2 finishes: a Black filter that matches the Black, Silver and Midnight Blue purifiers and a White filter that matches the White and Sandstone purifiers.
