Hafele's Loox 12V to 120V LED Dimmable Transformer with Electronic Low Voltage is class 2 rated and designed to operate with any standard MLV/Incandescent TRIAC (Leading edge) dimmer switch. The perfect choice for under cabinet lights, tape lights and various LED fixtures installations, the transformer is encased in a low profile aluminum enclosure that includes 2 knock-outs to enable easy installation. Including Auto Reset, over current and short circuit protection, the transformer has an efficiency of 90% and higher which allows it to operate at low temperatures.

	The reason I gave this item only 4 stars is because out of the four drivers I purchased for my kitchen lighting one of the installed series of lights flickered when dimmed beyond half way. I contacted Kitchensource for help and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer's reply was that I probably had too much distance between the driver and the lights, or I had too much wattage for the driver to handle, all of which was not true since I bought the drivers with the appropriate wattage capacity for each series and every one of the light fixtures I installed had the same additional one meter lead added to the lead coming from the light fixture. The manufacturer offered no suggestions to maybe try switching the drivers out but that is what I did and I ultimately determined that the driver attached to the lights that flickered did the same thing no matter which series of lights it was attached to. None of the other drivers had this problem. When I brought this to the attention of Kitchensurce they contacted the manufacturer and I received a replacement driver which now works perfectly. So I think it's worth one star for technical support not being as proactively helpful as they could have been but in the end they stood behind their product.
