I have a small kitchen, with limited counter space. This cart easily moves to where I need it and then out of the way, once again. Heavy & sturdy but rolls easily. Additionally it was easy to assemble. I could not be happier!

This is a great cart and I love the 4' maple and stainless steel. The cart moves smoothly and the wheels lock tightly. Assembly is very easy. Basically just screwing the frame onto the block.
The only complaint I had was that there was an indentation in the block. Not large but when I run my hands over the otherwise perfectly flat surface you can feel it so I do not know if these tops are carefully inspected before shipment and given the size and weight of this thing shipping it back for a replacement would be no picnic. They send you an email telling you to inspect it upon receipt but the UPS/Fedex guy is not going to sit there and wait while you open the box and remove the contents. They have more packages to deliver. You can sign as uninspected which is what I had to do but that is of little help if you still have to pack this thing up and ship it back.
So if you do order one make sure and request that the one that is sent to you is inspected very carefully to make sure the butcherblock surface is perfectly flat.

The top is 30" W x 24" D, and the towel bar sticks out 1-3/8", making it 31-3/8" deep total with the towel rack.

What is the clearance height of the shelf? Does the unit with the 2.25 top have more space than the one with the 4 inch top? I want to be able to store a tall mixer and a tall food processor on the shelf. Thank you - Asked about product JB-CUCT34
The space between the bottom of the drawer and the top of the shelf is 19 15/16” on both models.
