The Contempo Single Bowl Sink by Houzer brings a sleek look to your kitchen countertop. The sink's undermount installation works seamlessly with the zero-radius ledge and bottom, creating strong straight lines not found on most contemporary sinks today. The kitchen sink is constructed from scratch-resistant, 18-gauge type 304 stainless steel with a Brushed Satin finish. The sink also includes a rear-set drain and a matching strainer. The stainless steel WireCraft Bottom Grid sits on rubber boots that elevates the work surface and eases the draining process by letting water and debris through and also protects the sink's surface. The Endura Cutting Board is designed to mount perfectly over the sink for ease of food preparation and clean-up, and can also be used on the countertop. The kitchen sink is sound dampened by a ¼" thick layer of Mega-Shield ™ insulation foam that covers dense, sound absorbing pads to reduce the noise of objects clanging against the steel surface.
