The instructions could have been more explicit. I thought the pot rack was beautiful when installed and a great asset to my kitchen. I should add very sturdy as well as beautiful.The only regret I have is that it wasn't made in the U.S. If I found another regardless of price I would have purchased it instead of one made in CHINA I took away one star because of origin.
