Hi, Looking for a popup downdraft to use behind a flat top electric range. When looking at the Broan, and using a remote inline blower, does the big blower unit on the regular model disappear?
Alternatively, is it possible the reverse the intake grill to the opposite side of the unit?
Do you know of any other make that doesn't have the same thickness blower unit?

You can get the eclipse hood with an internal blower, or, you can choose a unit for use with an exterior blower. The unit which is for use with an exterior blower does not come with a blower in it. The exterior blower would then mount on the outside of the house and pull the air out.
