 AnswerWith unit CAV-SV218Z-30, you have the ability to use whatever type of light bulb you wish, however Cavaliere has not tested the units with LED bulbs, and we only have information gathered from customer reviews and remarks. There is always electricity running through these units so the LED bulbs will tend to have a slight glow. Also, there is no dimming feature so the lights would have to be off or bright.
