Description:

The Eclipse Surface Mount Table Base by Steelbase is made of high quality 304 stainless steel and is ideal for restaurants, bars, hotels, and any other related industry. This bolt-down table base is available in dining height, counter height and bar height and features a slim-line design with no exposed welds or fasteners. The unique locking mechanism results in a non-twisting post. The table base is easy to clean and has a flush stainless dress cover that eliminates food particle buildup. 	We purchased this stand to support a 2' overhang on our granite counter tops. It looks fantastic, but I was unable to bolt the bottom piece to the floor due to it's construction. If installing for a countertop support, you MUST install the post before the plywood or granite are installed. Hoping that epoxy keeps the bottom in place for now.

	In fd-designing my kitchen apartment, used thix pole support to hold up a floating piece of granite to create a cafe style seating area for lunch and/or computering. The pole supports worked well with minor adjustment...it was 1/2" too high. Some adjustability would better suit diverse situations. No one really notices the 1/2" slope but me.

	Our counter height is at 34-1/2". Is there an adjustable feature for that quarter of an inch difference on this table leg or would I have to order a custom size?   - Asked about product RI-CTB20
		There isn't an adjustable feature. It is exactly 34-3/4" high, so you would have to get a custom quote. You can reach us at 1-800-667-8721 for a custom quote.

	I need to know how to fasten the top plate onto the rod. One end of the rod has a bolt that is welded on I'm assuming that is the top?   - Asked about product RI-CTB15

	Can I get this leg in a custom height? We need it to be 38 1/2".   - Asked about product RI-CTB15

	Does the floor/cover plate provide additional load support or is it more loose and decorative. I need this to support one end 55 x 27 table top which will be wall mounted on the other short end. The 18 in base on the RFL seems overkill. Thanks, Mike   - Asked about product RI-CTB15
		The base can be used without the stainless cover but must be used with the black steel mounting plate that bolts to the floor (see pic). Alternatively, you can use a bar height Katrina leg if the leg does not have to be fastened down to the floor, see here: https://www.kitchensource.com/table-bases/ri-ctb23.htm
