| | This pull-out waste receptacle was purchased to go under our kitchen sink. We gutted and remodeled our kitchen last year and installed a very deep sink which limited the depth of a slide-out waste receptacle. Because this model is oriented side-to-side instead of front-to-back, it fits perfectly. There were no other manufacturers that offered this style that we could find. Kitchensource had it in stock and we received it in 3 days. Extremely easy installation.

| | | The total height of 35 Quart trash can from floor to top of rim is 18-3/4". The depth of the bin itself is 9-3/16" and the depth from the tip of the rail to the back of the bin is approximately 12-3/16". The pull out handles for if you are not door mounting this unit is available separately under "Optional Door Mount Bracket Kits and Handles" section of the page. The model number for the handle is HA-503.12.793 and it can be ordered in quantities of 5.

| Hi,
What are the space dimensions I need to mount under my sink in a cabinet? Are the dim's listed for the can the minimum?
Also, how does the lid work? Does one have to lift it by hand, does it swing/push? If I mount to the cabinet door, does it auto open when I open the cabinet door?

| | | The dimensions needed are 14 5/16" wide x 17 5/16" high x 16" deep or more.
The lid snaps over the can , with the rim of lid staying stationary on the top of the can the center portion of the plastic lid hinges upward from one end.
